A small walk in a BIG park where the Travel Bugs like to play!
If you help a Travel Bug on his way somewhere PLEASE only help
ONE, 1, UNO, a SINGLE Travel Bug at a time.
This is a regular sized cache, in a clear tuppaware container,
with a white top. It has been designated as our "Travel Bug" cache.
Any bugs we obtain that want to go south will stop here first.
Also, any we start will start here. It contained one of the first
travel bugs we collected; "Snowball" who is still on his way to Ft.
Lauderdale, along with many other good toys, TB's and things.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: This park closes at sunset! It also cost $3.25
per car or $1 per person by foot. Please sign the log book, and
take a picture. We hope you enjoy this park as much as we do!
If a TB has been in the cache for over 60 days the TB will be
moved to a new cache created especially for it somewhere in our
general location in South Florida.
After we placed the cache, we decided to take a little walk on
the trail. We saw a deer up ahead, and quietly followed him for
about a quarter mile, untill We lost him at a bridge. Also on the
way out of the park we stopped and visited our friends the
aligators and their little babies! Wow, we saw 6 babies this time!
We strongly suggest checking them out!
