Finding a lid but not the container and not signing the log does not make it a find. A log of needing maintenance is proper if one feels the hide is compromised.
Please read the guidelines and follow them which leads to the proper way to play this game. Otherwise, you're not but that's on you. I don't delete logs but could easily do so.
