Welcome Agent “Geocacher”, early yesterday morning, Star Base
Mons Wolfe (located at the newly constructed moon base built inside
the moon mountain “Mons Wolfe”) sent an emergency burst
transmission to Federation Earth HQ, informing that they had
intercepted an encrypted message foretelling a planned invasion of
planet Earth.
Only a partial communication data stream was received as it was
cut off not long after it started. Communications have not yet been
re-established with Star Base Mons Wolfe. We fear the worst!
It is with urgent priority that the encrypted message be
deciphered. It is imperative that we discover who or what is behind
this threat and uncover any plans they may have. Our best
cryptographers have been working on this problem around the clock
but so far have only had partial success.
What we do know so far, is that “the invaders” have secretly
located a communication beacon somewhere on earth that they are
using to communicate with their operatives. If we can tap into this
beacon, it will allow us to intercept their transmissions and will
hopefully allow us to be one step ahead of anything they have
planned.
Agent “Geocacher”, it is your mission (should you decide to
accept it), to decipher the following partially decrypted
communication and locate and tap into the enemy communication
beacon.
