My second cache in the Ashton Court Estate, almost in view of the first (R.I.P Ashton Number One), but much better hidden. The cache can be approached from several ways. Terrain is quite steep in places, and can be muddy.
Ashton Court is a mansion and estate to the west of the City of Bristol. It is owned by Bristol City Council, although much of it is in North Somerset. The estate covers 850 Acres (3.4 km²)of woods and open grassland, and contains two golf courses, a miniature railway, an orienteering course, and a mountain bike trail. There is also an extensive deer park, dating from the fourteenth century.
There are two main parking places inside the estate. You can park at the bottom, off the Portway, or at the top off Bridge Road. You should be able to reach the cache location without too much difficulty, access is on paved road/hard ground until the last fifty meters or so.
