This cache is located in the McKenzie conservation area near Newman Lake. We have a cabin close by and have enjoyed hiking all around this area, so it seemed a likely spot to place my very first cache.
The cache is located about a half mile from the parking area, down an old road that is now closed to motorized traffic. If you continue on the road it will take you to the lake shore and another geocache.
The container is a small Lock&Lock with a few small items. I have included an unactivated travel bug tag for the FTF.
