Geocache Description:

A small cache located at a Westbrook fishing hole.

This is a small dry box with a log and small trade items.
Cache container changed 08/15/2010 to a micro due to heavy muggle activity. Log and pencils only.

You can access the cache through the Saccarappa Cemetery. The cemetery is closed from sunset to 7am. Please respect the timeframe. The cache is not in the cemetery but is near the pond.

To reach the cemetery turn off William Clark Drive (25) on to Church Street. Take the last left on Church Street before it dead ends. You can drive up to the cemetery gates which maybe open. You will need to park very close to the gate or through the gates, otherwise you risk being towed.

I have placed trail coordinates on the page for a nice little trail down to the pond edge where you can fish. The state stocks it with brook trout. Fishing can be good just after the stocking truck arrives but for the most part it is a put and take pond.I watched brook trout rise this morning 5/16/09. According to IFW they stocked the pond with 200 9" brook trout in 2008. They also stocked the pond in 2009 with 185 10" Brook Trout. The cache is not off this section of trail.

Please make sure to return cache as it was found to prevent muggles from destroying it..

Good Luck!
