Beaver Dam Memorial Park Multi-Cache
Welcome to Beaver Dam Memorial Park. This park was established on the ground on which the Beaver Dam Junior/High School used to stand. The school was demolished after a fire in January 1968 destroyed the gymnasium and industrial shop sections of the school. During the fire, samaritans voluntarily carried boxes of items from the school to the church across the street (now Beaver Dam United Methodist Church).
This is a multi-cache. The posted coordinates will lead you to a hidden 35 mm film can with instructions on how to find the cache. The cache is a camoed Ovaltine container which contains a log and pencil and some room for trade items. You must sign the log to claim a find. Log entries that contain spoilers to the final cache location are subject to deletion.
Please be respectful of the park and remember CITO. Park in the gravel parking lot. Park is open from dawn to dusk. Logs that indicate night caching will be deleted!
