Easy or...less easy. Three different points of attack make this as much fun as you want.
Calvin's successor, Logan, inspired this cache. Very nearby to Calvin's Romp, with four different possible approaches, three of which I'll detail: You may either enter on the Little River Nature Trail from the Newburyport Park and Ride here: N42 49.162 W70 54.771 or from the Hale St. entry to the trail here: N42 48.183 W70 54.711. The most direct (and least interesting) route to the cache is actually from a place called Cooper's North Pasture located here: N42 48.279 W70 54.249 Parking is available at all three locations.
If you go in via either end of the Little River Nature trail, there is a turn-off onto a side trail here: N42 48.521 W70 54.724
Do not succumb to the temptation to bushwack to the cache off the trail. The cache is no more than 20 feet from the edge of a well-trod trail, and swamps and bramble await those that seek shortcuts :-).
The cache is a well-hidden small ammo can, with the usual trinkets, a camera and a log book. If the first finder would please let me know how close their fix got them that would be good. My GPS was limited to 20 foot accuracy +/-.
This will make an excellent companion to Calvin's Romp, once that is returned to service.
If whoever finishes the camera would please post a note, I would appreciate it.
