All geckos need a grotto!
A letterbox cache in a hot, lizard friendly spot. If you are lucky, you will see some lizards during your visit. Make sure to make a green gecko stamp in your own letterbox book but leave the stamp and ink pad in the cache for others to enjoy.
Directions for those with no GPS (or for those using a Magellan! LOL!) below:
This letterbox is on Alt 95 between Fallon and I-80. All distances are approximate.
From I-80, letterbox is about 6 miles south of I-80 or a bit under 3 miles south of where the train crosses the highway. Approximately .20 miles south of mile marker 53. Look for a long freestanding rock formation a bit off the east side of the road. The letterbox cache is an ammo can hidden in the rock formation.
