Geocache Description:

Coordinates will take you to the Founder's Square Sundail and the historical content you need to peruse to solve this offset multi.

I have come to truly appreciate these town square historical monuments and the in-depth yet succinct history lesson's they provide. Much like the Memorial along Neenah's Waterway that details the history of the settling of the Fox River, this Founder's Square does an equally fantastic job of doing the same for Oshkosh.

There is a great deal of history detailed here, most of which was unknown to me until I took time to read it. I hope you will do the same, and expect you will have to to solve this puzzle.

To final the final, subtract from the given North - the difference between the years when the first gypsy girl was seen in town and when the last one was minus the difference between the years when the city's namesake won a race and when he was given a place to permanently "park".

And, add to the given West - the difference between the years when women were first excluded from the boys club and the year they took center stage for the boys minus the difference between the year they were first heard talking to their relatives and the year they were first heard talking to their representatives, minus the difference between the years records were broken on the ice.

UPDATE: 9.13.08 Correction: Updated clue for West as I misread a date due to wet conditions.
