Cache is a micro, containing only a log and pencil. It is wheelchair friendly as there are tarmac paths to the cache site.
Shaftesbury Park is a small green space in the middle of Carrickfergus, hidden away between houses and the railway track. The land was a gift from Lord Shaftsbury, to create a municipal park with shamrock shaped pond, although the pond has since been removed. You can park at Joymount on the road and walk through the gate near the Joymount Arms, or in the pay and display car park at the De Courcey Centre.
Opening hours for the park are 8am to 8pm.
