Geocache Description:

I rode on the causeway yesterday. Four miles one way and back with my brothers, scubatime, Coco, and mom - aka roostersting. Today, I wanted to ride on another bike path so we met scubatime and Coco at Oakledge Park. We were working on the stages of the Burlington Bikeway cache and I didn't want to stop. I rode all the way to Airport Park in Colchester and back.

Note from mom: His training wheels came off of the bike three weeks ago. I couldn't believe that a 4 1/2 year old was ready to ride without them. He was able to stop and get off the bike too. He only had trouble getting started and needed someone to hold the bike and give him a little shove. Today, he kept trying and had it a few miles from Airport Park. Monkeesting rode all the way back, in the lead, without assistance! Then he rode around the parking lot for a while after 18.7 MILES!!!

You are now looking for a bison tube. Be sure to take a few minutes and walk about 50-60 feet north for a really great view of Appletree Bay!

The picture below is AFTER the ride! See the gallery for other monkeesting bike riding pictures. He was very chatty for most of the way home and fell asleep when we got close about 7:30 pm (very unusual for this night owl) and slept all night long!
