This is another in our Spirit Series. It is in a private cemetery, so please show extra respect. Also, please remember the Michigan law which says cemeteries are open only from dawn to dusk.
Take a little tour of the heritage of this area, look around at all of the stones which are sons, Nelson, Olson, Peterson, Johnson, Hermanson, Anderson, Larson, Christenson and Iverson, to name a few. There is also a headstone which says the person was born in Norway. There are stones for a couple boys who were killed while riding their bicycles along US 31.
If you take the time to look at the windows in the front of the church, the two side windows and the round window were created by Cobbie.
