Another Desert Island Disc cache
Any American 80’s alternative rock fan will know The Ocean Blue. A very unique band from Hershey Pennsylvania in that their sound has a British hint to it. They actually came and played a concert at BYU which was unique in and of itself. I got to help setup for the show and talk with the band quite a bit beforehand and enjoyed the whole show backstage. This is their debut album and although all the other albums are great, I never get tired of this one. Every song is superb and they remind me of my old job as a glass beveler. We would call an album like this “shop music”, which believe it or not, is not an easy designation to earn.
I finally got a name to match the location somewhat (I wish I'd have put the Echo & the Bunnymen cache in Echo canyon and Back Home Again at Brighton. Oh well.) Anyway, this is just under a mile on a gentle winding trail. You might find some shorter game trails if you want to try. The Green Pond was a little more brown than I'd expected. Enjoy an easy hike.
Important: As always, the song title written in the cover of the logbook will be needed to find the grand finale, if I ever get to it.
