No puzzles. No multis. No catches. No steep hills. No gates. No stiles. No back-tracking. Just a series of thirteen fairly easy caches on a pleasant six mile stroll through central Wiltshire with panoramic views of the countryside.

If you want to add it to your list of finds, now's the time to do it.
The route of this series will take you through areas where wildlife abounds. Look out for rabbits, hares, foxes and deer. While surveying and placing this series we saw blackbird, buzzard, crow, goldfinch, kestrel, magpie, mistle thrush, pheasant, red-legged partridge, rook, stonechat and other birds too quick or too far away to identify.
For much of the outward journey you will be able to see the Cherhill Monument and, before its demolition on September 18th 2016, it was possible to see the Westbury cement works chimney for some of the return journey. We did think of renaming this series Monument and..., but decided to leave it as it was.
There are two points where you will need to cross a road. Visibility is good, but be aware that passing traffic can be swift.
The terrain rating is for the whole series. Individual caches may be easier to access.
Park at the picnic site, waypoint below, and then leave the car park by the flight of steps at the far end and enjoy.
If your GPSr tempts you into the Morgan's Hill Nature Reserve, be firm and remember that there are no gates on this route.
You are looking for a camouflaged micro.
If you approach from the A361, you may notice two rectangular signs quartered in red and white, on the left of the road. These are exactly a quarter of a mile apart and are used by the police to calibrate their speedometers. If you wish to check your speedometer, drive at a constant speed and have someone time your travel between the two posts. Divide the number of seconds into 900 and that will give you your true speed in miles per hour. One of these posts is near where you will cross the road for the first time.
