Geocache Description:

One of 4 Small Caches on the road from Kettlewell http://www.kettlewell.info/ to Middleham http://www.middlehamonline.com/page.htm over Park Rash Pass and through Coverdale

Each micro is a cache in its own right, however they also contain a small laminated Letter/Number tie up which, when all 4 caches are visited, will allow you to complete two normal size multi-caches Coverdale Cache “N” Dash Final North/East and Coverdale Cache “N” Dash South/West.

The micro caches (All small containers) are in the central part of the series, the full size caches are located at either end of the series and have been jointly placed by GILFAM and Eeee Bi Gum

Other Micros in the series are

PLEASE ENSURE THE LAMINATED LETTER / NUMBER TIE UP IS IN THE CONTAINER WHEN YOU RETURN THE LOG

The full size Multicaches are linked here

However please read the narrative, and note the published co-ordinates of the multicaches ARE NOT the final co-ordinates.

Safe, roadside parking is available close to each of the cache locations.
Please note the Kettlewell to Coverdale road is narrow and steep with passing places, and your driving technique should reflect this.
Park Rash is a pretty long climb, one-in-four at its steepest.
The road rises to over 1600’ above sea level, and you should not attempt to complete the cache in times of heavy snowfall.
The road is frequently impassable in winter after a snowfall, which may not be apparent in the lower dales, observe all road closure signs.
However the road is also one of the most spectacular in the Yorkshire Dales so do enjoy it.
Along the way beware of and look out for sheep and other wild animals :- rabbits, pheasants, grouse, and various birds of prey
