Twin Lakes White Oaks Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

brianofparis: Well my daughter and I went out to check on this cache today. It looks like the tree that this cache lived in has been cut down. I found that the city had cut down (or maybe the tree fell) and then pushed the tree over into the woods. I looked into the cavity of this log but the cache appeared to be gone. It either got muggled before the tree went down or it was taken by the city folk. Either way, the cache is now gone. We are going to archive this listing. We might try to get another one out in this area but if any other local cachers want to put something out in this spot, feel free to go for it! Thanks for everyone who seeked out this cache.

Geocache Description:

When I was younger, I spent many afternoons back in this area fishing with my Grandpa Leroy. Now I take my own child back to this area to fish off of the dock.

You are looking for a camo'd lock and lock container covered with some sticks and bark. Please cover the container back up when you are finished.

You will not have to go back into the woods / weeds to retrieve the cache.

I started this cache out with a gold dollar for the FTF as well as several small trinkets such as dominos, marbles and children jewelry.

Since this area is heavily fished from time to time, you might need to be a bit stealthy in the search. Have fun!!!

Also..this area is closed from 10:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. Please no caching during these hours.
