Now simply a regular cache, too hard for folks to swap fair as
requested below, but in all fairness it wasn't the place for a TB
hotel.... Still a superb place to visit, I've left the original
cache page below to show the idea, no, it didn't work, people
inevitably just took what they fancied and left less or even
nothing, human nature no doubt.... Hello and Welcome to Rivington's
first trackable Hotel! I hope your stay will be an agreeable one !
This cache has been placed with the idea of exchanging trackables
whilst caching in the area of Rivington (in fact there is another
great cache nearby and this too can be done from the parking point
- waymarked), the cache hopefully will be published in time for
this weekends forthcoming camping event , you may have noticed the
title ?, well, we have fair trade Coffee, Bananas, and all manner
of things - so why not caches?... what does it mean...?
Well, it's simple, Well I'm sure you have all visited travel bug
hotels that when you get there, you are lucky if there is actually
any inside...! well this way people will be politely asked to 'fair
trade'1 out then 1 in :-)... to make the cache as enjoyable for
EVERY visitor, not just themselves, feel free to discover any
trackables inside as always and if you grab a trackable - please
drop too! sounds fair ? I think so. Please note this is not a
logging requirement due to cache restrictions but cachers are
politely asked to think of other finders and what they would like
to find in here
The area itself is a beautiful place, which anyone who has been
up here will confirm! I would reccomend sturdy boots or wellies for
the approach to the cache from the road as the recent rain has made
one part of it a total quagmire! however it is navigable if you
step carefully on the stones, (I have done it today)
Finally may I just ask that if you do see a trackable in there with
a specific mission that YOU ARE ABLE TO HELP WITH then please DO
HELP, and just say so in your log, Also, any TB / COIN owners
wanting items that are in the hotel to be moved on if they have
stayed in 5* luxury for a bit TOO long please contact me and I will
endeavour ASAP to get this sorted to your needs! after all
trackables are meant to be moved! Hotel patrons: PLEASE cover the
cache very carefully so it isn't discovered by non guests!, that's
it ! enjoy yourselves out there !!!!!
