This cache is meant to be somewhat of a reprise of the Skeeter
On In Travel Bug Motel that was located very near this site several
years ago. That cache was one of our first Upper Peninsula finds
when we started caching and lived downstate and has always held a
special place in our caching history. Unfortunately, we had the sad
honor of being the last finders of it before it was muggled.
This cache is placed a short distance from the previous version
and is a micro cache. I had to do a micro to avoid being on private
property, but this area is still worth checking out, so sorry about
the lame hiding spot. To claim a find on this cache you must sign
the logbook. If you look to the southeast (you may have to move
a little bit to get a good view) you will see something pretty neat
on top of the red structure.
This structure was something that we had passed by many, many
times without ever noticing before we stopped to hunt the previous
cache in this location.
