A cache and dash on the way to Nana's of course!
When my sisters and I were small enough to have no concept of distance in miles, if we went on a trip somewhere someone would ask "Is it as far as Nana's?" At that time we were living in South Gloucestershire and Nana was in South East London - approx 3 hours.
We would be told by our parents "No it's not as far as Nana's" which was good, or "To Nana's and a bit more" not so good, then one day one of our parents (I cant remember which) muttered the now classic words "It's as far as Nana's and back" a huge distance! After that things were often measured in distances of "to Nana's and back"
My childrens "Nana's" both live just within an hour of us, so "to Nana's and back" x 2 or 3 is going to come in very handy in the future!
