The Thames Moorings series are a variation on the Thames Path
series. Most of the caches will be close to the Thames Path and
most likely all of them will be accessible to pedestrians. What
differentiates them from others in the Thames Path series is that
they are placed near public moorings for the floating equivalent of
a "cache and dash", a sort of boating Motorway Mayhem.
You may be able to do this as a "cache and dash" by car too -
you can usually park for a short time very near the cache.
Otherwise there is a car park halfway along the road north of the
Desborough Cut. Or you can combine this cache with the two others
on the island.
You need to bring your own pencil/ball point for this cache.
The closest I can get for the Handicache rating is H11111, but
this may be a little misleading as the last 2 or 3 feet might
possibly be tricky in a wheelchair.
Summary: Often fishermen
near this cache, hence a camo micro.
