In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:

Fisherman's Memorial Park

A nano hidden at the dory monument overlooking the harbor along Atlantic Avenue. It was erected as a tribute to all local fishermen lost at sea.

For something fun and different, visit Boothbay Harbor in April during Fisherman's Festival. Locals have fun competing with each other in the cod fish race, dory bailing, tug-of-war, crate races and trap hauling. A tribute to lost fishermen at the Memorial Park and a blessing of the fleet is also a big part of the Festival.
