Geocache Description:

This is a small camouflaged container about the size of a 35mm film canister. Your own pencil might be necessary.

This was a town on the Pere Marquette Railroad mail to Manistee in 1910. The structure just to your south was a store which was in business until about 1970. The school for the community is West on Schoedel road and is now used for a community hall for card parties, etc.

Please park in the turnout by the store, do not park on the shoulder of M22.

This is the beginning of our new series, ghosttowns of Manistee (GT series). Most of them will be park and grabs, as the towns are now privately owned.
