Geocache Description:


This is a regular sized container placed at Throxenby Mere. Throxenby Mere nestles at the foot of Raincliffe, a small glacial lake this is now a popular fishing destination and is used frequently by local schools for pond dipping.

Raincliffe woods offers much for those who want to explore and enjoy the natural environment. For more information about the area or suggested walks visit The Friends of Raincliffe Woods at www.raincliffewoods.com

The path to this cache is pram and wheelchair friendly, however retrieving the cache would not be.

This cache has been placed by my daughter snoopy, who has included lots of various swaps for childen to enjoy. This cache also contains a selection of childrens books. Please replace with a childs book as this cache is primarily for children.

Swaps contained in the cache when placed include rubbers, pens, pencils, highlighters, scissors (safety ones), rulers, braclet, pencil sharpner and various other bits.
Books included, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Groovey Greeks, The Gorilla who Wanted to Grow Up, Fatbag and Ruth and the Blue Horse.
