Geocache Description:

Quick traditional cache on the popular recreational mountain Schöckl.

The Schöckl with its over 1400 meters altitude and the cablecar going up is a popular recreational area for the people in its vicinity and especially from Graz.

There's already a few multi and mystery caches on and around Schöckl, so if you're looking for more extended hikes, tours and puzzles, check them out. Notably they are (as to my knowledge, at the time of this writing): GCKPC6 by ettt and GC1D75G by mbretter, plus a few traditionals in the area with a much higher terrain rating, such as GC1AN7Z by Lord Harry and GC8017 by Gert & Volker. This cache has been placed here for short-time visitors to the area (or just for lazy people ) who don't have the time and/or resources to do any of the other caches.

The easiest way to get to the top of the Schöckl is to take the cablecar, which costs (as time of this writing) ca € 14 per person round-trip. Of course you can also hike up or ride a bike up, in which case the terrain rating is accordingly higher (around the 3.0 or 3.5 mark). Please note that if you park your car at the cablecar carpark, but do not take the cablecar, there is a parking fee of € 3 (parking is free if you use the cablecar), but of course you're free to hunt for other free parking elsewhere if you want to hike up. Please be wary of the Deadly Nightshade commonly seen growing in this area. Looks like tasty berries, but is highly poisonous! Do not eat!

The cache is a transparent 1-liter plastic box, containing (among other trading items) logbook, pencil and sharpener (do not remove those items). For the first finder, we also included € 6 - half the price for the cablecar.
