The cache is at a place which is easy to drive to and is hidden not far from where you will park. It is close to an old overgrown railroad bed.
Back in the day freight trains pulled by steam engine locomotives rumbled through here heading to places unknown to us kids. These were the old choo-choo trains.
Sometimes we would come by here and lay pennies on the tracks and come back a few hours later to find them lying near the tracks all shiney and neatly flattened. Occasionally we would go to the nearby railroad station which was located at approximately 40 58.300 and 076 22.700 and watch the telegraph operator tapping out and receiving messages by morse code.
The container is a small size ammo box, and along with the usual logbook and swag, it contains a signature stamp for use by letterboxers and geocachers to stamp their own personal logbooks if they so choose.
There is a FTF prize as well as prizes for 2nd and 3rd.
