South, South East of the waterfall up Ogden's famous Waterfall Canyon.
Wanted to place a FINDABLE cache in this area that is not a micro, because I know how bad we all dislike micros in the woods. There are some other caches up this canyon but they are very small and getting good satelite signals are a problem as well due to the canyon walls and tree cover. Hopefully this cache will not have those problems as it is well up above the canyon bottom, and has no tree cover (I was getting about 35ft accuracy) and it is a regular sized cache.
Once you get up to the waterfall in Waterfall Canyon head up the rocky ravine to the south. I would not recommend this cache for the young ones as it can get a a little dicey going after it. The trail is quite steep and the rocks are pretty loose. Once you get to the cache if you want to go about 30 feet to the west you can get great view of the falls looking across at it more so than looking up at it from the bottom. Please hide exactly as found, high muggle probability so it is hidden in a bush and under some rocks. Also, this is somewhat of a seed cache as it has a nano cache in the original contents, whoever takes it I would like to hear where you placed the nano. BECAREFUL!!! THE CLIFFS TO THE WEST ARE VERY HIGH AND IF YOU FELL OFF DEATH IS VERY LIKELY!!! The hint will make it pretty obvious only decode to take away most of the challenge finding it.
8/5/12 The cache was recently replaced with a smaller container. I am not a fan of small caches in the wildeness. If too many DNF's happen I will address the issue then.
This is where the nano landed. (visit link)
