Geocache Description:

You can park fairly close, but I would stay on the trails when walking. It can get steep quickly off of the trail

FTF to LuckyAquar! Thanks for looking!

This is one of my favorite places on the mountain and its got some folklore behind it. One is in reference to how it was named and the other was related to me by the father of a friend of mine (I'm sad to say he passed away this year at 90+ years). One tale being that a lady used to walk between Stony Run and Briery Branch every week or so, spending time with family on each side of the mountian. She did not show up as expected and the family members found her near this spot, she was found sitting beneath a tree where she had passed away. The other story is in reference to how this spot was named, but you will need to read my cover note in the logbook for that one.

Some of the original cache contents include;

Some trackables, Including Minie' Cedar , on the march again after 144 years
A small flasher
A whistle
A new Sunnto compass
A couple of trash bags (I never seem to have one when I want one)
and a few other items.

My theme for this cache is simple little things (except food items) that could be handy in the mountains.
