The cache is located along the Little Kachess Trail, which is for
the most part level, well-maintained, and child-friendly. The final
approach to the cache is up a small incline that the very little
ones shouldn't attempt. Enjoy the easy walk and great
views.
To get there, take I-90 to exit 62 and turn NE on Lake Kachess Road
(Forest Road 49) for 5 miles to a three-way intersection. Turn
right and enter the Lake Kachess Campground ($6/day use fee), turn
left and drive about 1/2 mile to the parking area for Little
Kachess Trail No. 1312.
