Near one end of the paved path between the WOSU TV tower and The Lakes Club. Original cache muggled. Replacement waterlogged. Container #3 is a waterproof micro placed in a dryer location.
Congratulations Spy Kids on another FTF!!
You can reach this from the street for terrain 2. (Mind the abandoned fence).
The original path from the base of the TV tower: There is an alley of old pine that runs beside the tower access road. You can get in this relatively clear path at the west end near the base of the tower. Near the east end is a deer trail that takes you back south and west towards the cache. This route has low limbs, thorns, and poison ivy. This route was originally described to show that it was not necessary to go OVER the fence to get the cache. If you have not checked out the tower, I encourage you to go back and take a look. The property belongs to OSU. Just stay out of the fenced off areas marked "Keep Out".
If you'd like to enjoy a 3.5 mile out and back stroll, you can park near the intersection of Highland Lakes Avenue and Route 3, pick up the cache and then follow the paved path towards The Lakes Club at Worthington Road. There is also access to the Ohio to Erie Bike Trail at the south end of Inverness Street off Highland Lakes Avenue.
The cache container no longer has room for trade items. Please rehide the container so that it will not be accidently discovered by muggles. Thank you.
