G-X: I paid a visit to this cache for maintenance and on my way down spotted a box in a location where one of my old caches was. As I got closer, I realised that the box was the Herons wood cache. It was out in the open with a latch missing. I opened it expecting to find something horrible inside but the contents (or what was left of the contents) were clean-ish and not too damp.
Not too sure whats happened here but explains the previous DNF.
Previous finder has been contacted to try and establish where the cache was when they found it. As the cache appears to have been muggled at this stage, I am going to archive it on the grounds that previous finders have been quizzed as to what they are looking for etc at GZ and it stands a good chance that the cache will go again.
Anything of value seems to have been stripped from the cache along with the cow with the crumpled horn TB.
