Fairly easy cache but with a steep hill scramble at the end
Stunning view over the river Dart, Dartmouth, Kingswear, Britannia Royal Naval College and out to sea. Locally regarded as the best view in the town and off the normal tourist track. Also one of the best spots to watch the air displays if you are visiting the town during the regatta week.
From parking 1 walk NNE down the road/track until you reach the wooden footpath signpost for Dyers woods. Go through the kissing gate and follow your GPS. Please do not turn off the road through the fields before you reach the signpost as these are farmers fields and private (the cache is on public land).
Note the field can get muddy underfoot (especially after a British Summer)
Cache contains a local treat for the FTF!
Parking 2 is much closer but only has a very few spaces. If you are lucky enough to get a space it is just a short walk following the GPS
