Just off paved road.
Nine Mile Creek flows nearby. About 0.1 mile downstream (north) the creek makes a 90 degree bend that is locally called Slippery Bend. There are various legends explaining this moniker; the most colorful relates to the old mill houses located upstream. They didn't have sewers or septic back in the day. They discharged into the creek, so when everybody flushed, the goods got caught up at Slippery Bend. Well, those days are long gone, but thus cache commemorates the old tale.
It's OK to park along the street, but don't block the mailboxes on the north side of the street; the mailman usually comes between 11 am and 2 pm. Also, no on street parking November to April at night.
First to find is a little toy dog.
