Nice hike up to the rocky summit of Whitehorse Ledge. There are many ways to get to the top but you can check your GPS or local trail map for the best one for you. The Bryce Trail is the most common.
Whitehorse Ledge is one of two, the other being Cathedral Ledge, towering cliffs overlooking the village of North Conway. There is technical rock climbing on both but that is not required for this cache. After fresh snow search the face of the cliff from the road below for the long lost 'White Horse'. You will be looking for a green ammo can. Please trade fairly and watch for muggles.
There are two main ways of getting to the Bryce Trail. You can park at Echo Lake and hike around to the left until you reach the trail junction. A shorter way is to take the Bryce Link Trail at the end of Cathedral Ledge Rd. Both trails will bring you to a trail junction where the Bryce Trail begins. At 1 mile the steep trail splits. Right will take you to the top of Cathedral Ledge. Left will bring you to the top of Whitehorse Ledge. Be careful of the slippery rocks and the edge at the first viewpoint. Enjoy the rocky summits with views overlooking Echo Lake and the valley.
