This small lock 'n' lock container is placed along the Military Ridge Trail west of Verona. The cache is just under one mile from the parking coordinates listed. Although roadside parking is possible closer to the cache, it's not ideal. A trail pass is necessary if you will be biking to the cache; for details, please see http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/land/parks/specific/militaryridge/
The TST (Tail Sweep Twins) present their second geocache in the Verona area. Hopefully many more will follow. This cache is placed in honor of Gray; the ever dependable and loyal geokitten. Although the TST are the official, feline, geocaching mascots of the Geoboys; Gray taught them all they know. Note: The TST is a series, but doesn't need to be found in any particular order.
During spring and summer you will get your cardio workout doing the Mosquito Shuffle.
Geoboy 1 and the Tail Sweep Twins have filled their cache with two old coins and a couple of Breast Cancer Awareness pins for the FTF to choose from.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to C.Delkamp, Military Ridge State Trail Manager of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouce managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: (visit link)
Congratulations to WStemple for the FTF!!
