This cache will take you to about 5750ft. To reach the location in a relatively safe manner please follow the instructions.
* Pay attention
* You will make 2 turns from trail to trail
* 1st the The Summit Trail junction

* Take a left.
** IMPORTANT**
Stay on the trail until the next trail junction waypoint. Its the easy way, I promise.

* Turn off the trail and follow the ridge line up on a
less defined trail here. When you come to a down tree in
the path, veer to the left of it to regain the trail.
After you follow these instructions you will find yourself on top of the Western Cascades. Enjoy the 360* panoramic views and peaceful meadow. We could see 8 snow peaks. If you are planning on staying the night you can camp here if the weather is nice or in the flat woods down near where you turned to follow the ridge line trail up here.
Cache is in a pint nalgene bottle. Please replace the lid tightly.
Make sure to be cautious on your way down, there are a lot of cliffs here.
