I was surprised to find that here in the Heart of the former Transkei they are making use of water to convert it into electricity and I thought I would share it with my fellow geocachers. The Collywobbles hydro-electric scheme makes use of a weir to create a head and to regulate the flow of water through it's turbines. The Electricity is then stored at the power station over the mountain.
