This is an easy cache in a half forgotten cemetery, located in a
hidden hollow of Connellsville. Park at the listed coords and go
from there. St. Emery's cemetery is a small but important burial
ground that has
the honor of housing the remains of 10 of the brave miners lost in
the Darr mine disaster.
This link has more info on that:
http://patheoldminer.rootsweb.ancestry.com/darr3.html
And here is another cache that has been placed in honor of that
disaster: "DARR MINE CACHE" GCPNVG
There are many old graves in this cemetery, ( try to pronounce
some of the names, I did, and sprained my tongue) and you will need
to find one monument in particular to get the final cords. Look for
the largest monument (not a headstone) in the cemetery and get the
year off of it, call it "JKLM" take the four digits in the year on
the marker and add them together J+K+L+M=A......take A...then do
this......
[(A x A) x 2] + 65 = XXX
place your answer here in N40* 00.XXX
then take (A x JKLM) - 1219 = QQQQQ
place your answer here in W79* QQ.QQQ
The cache is not in the cemetery, but is further up the little
valley. The straightest path is not always the best! Please re-hide
well as this area does see its share of kiddie muggles. Good luck
and happy caching!
