Bend and Snap Redeux - Payback's a Birch! Traditional Cache

AK-DSP: We went to check on this one earllier today, and it looks like it up and R-U-N-D-O-F-T. It appears that someone has other plans for the area.

We thought about restoring it, but feel it is better to let this one go. We are afraid that if we attached another cache to a new tree the same way as the original, the 'destruction crew' might think it was marked for removal.

We'll have a different cache in the area very soon.

Geocache Description:

We borrowed part of the name, but not the way it is hidden. Located on the fringes of a well used park. It is closed to motorized traffic after baseball season, but there is parking nearby.

The cache which provided the spark of inspiration is a great hide, but caused us no end to 'vexation' until we found it.

I actualy sat up in the midde of the night, woke the wife, and exclaimed, "Ha! That HAS to be it!", ... We looked. It wasn't. But this is.

We hope our tribute to Fireweedcachers' - Bend and Snap, will be as much fun as its namesake.
