Snakes Alive! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Greatland Reviewer: Hello AK-DSP:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache. If you would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

There is a parking lot nearby, and from there a short walk to the cache. Terrain is 2.0 because of a minimal trek in dense undergrowth.

Take care when grabbing this easy cache, as it is guarded by the only slithery reptile native to Alaska. Bring a pencil/pen. This one should be kid friendly, and available year round. Please replace the cache exactly as found.

Congratulations to Ladybug Kids for FTF!

***** Wasp Warning!*****

During the summer of 2009, a wasp nest went under construction in the vacinity of the hide, and a couple of cachers were stung during their search. Please by careful! If you see any evidence that they have returned this year, let us know, and we will relocate the cache.
