Geocache Description:

Congratulations to 4America and Padre69 for the tie for FTF.

In keeping with my series, Beautifying Wichita Through Sculptures, There are 31 sculptures in the downtown area that are fun to discover. The bronzes belong to a unique genre called participatory art, inviting onlookers to play, pose and even join in the art while you learn about the life and character of Wichita as depicted by Washington artist Georgia Gerber. This is one of the small ones, with the largest being in Reflection Square Park. A walking tour is a small taste of the beautiful sculptures in our community. The first set of sculptures were placed in 2000. You are looking for a magnetic key holder with a few smashed pennies inside along with a log to sign in. Please bring a pen or pencil to log in.
Also while you are in the downtown area, check out the Downtown Douglas Statue Tour (GC1KG4G). This is a fun one to get and it only takes less than an hour.
