Rotherham Canal Basin Traditional Cache

A short walk along the canalside footpath by the Rotherham Canal Basin turning point for barges. All but the last 50 metres on good paths.
The first of several caches I intend to place along the canal network passing through Rotherham. Parking is available at the nearby Retail World car parks at N53 26.900 W001 20.700
This short walk takes you away from it all. Admire the clusters of swans that have been resident around these parts for as long as I can remember (and that's quite a few years!).
The cache is a half litre tupperware style box covered in a bit of cammo tape and contains a log book, pencil, pen, sharpener, FTF card, cache box card and a few trade items.
