Piney Hills Treasure Hunt Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Chuck Walla: Greetings from Geocaching.com,

Since you have not responded to the reviewer log about your cache, nor did you post a note to your cache page telling the reviewer and others of your intention to address the issue with it, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, a reviewer note was posted to your cache page requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and to send me a note. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that you are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Sincerely,

Chuck Walla

Geocache Description:

This cache is located inside a public information center. Once you locate the coordinates enter to find the cache. Access to this cache is limited to weekdays 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

NOW UPDATED!! This cache now contains cd-rom's with movies created by Choudrant Business Education students about local historic sites that will play on a dvd player or computer. Also, there are now MYSTERY brochures that require you to use a gps unit to locate the sites and name them as you find them downtown. This cache is the culmination of a project called the Piney Hills Parish Treasure Hunt. This year the Choudrant High School business students connected these Loui$iana Trea$ure$ with treasures found on currency. Some of the brochures will tell the connection they found between the historic site and currency. The cache contains a log book for you to sign, a camera to have your picture taken and information brochures about historic locations. There are also brochures about other historical sites within Lincoln parish that are not downtown. Our parish is great and you will enjoy the visit. Hope you enjoy the mystery brochures and historic movies!
