The Cape Morgan Lighthouse was established in 1964 and is still active today. The lighthouse consists of a fully automatic Stone Chance lantern atop a 12 metre aluminium lattice tower. There are two white flashes every 10 seconds with a range of 24 sea miles. This is the most Easterly lighthouse on the Cape Coast and unfortunately closed to the public. The well known standloper hiking trail runs past this point. The cache is a 1.2 litre LNL and is hidden on the trail around 150 meters from the lighthouse. To get to the lighthouse take the gravel road from Kei Mouth that follows the coast line which can easily be reached in any car.
