Squid Tree Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Neophile: It is gone, and the cubby where it was hidden is filled with empty acorn shells. Apparently, the squirrels need that spot more than we geocachers do.

Geocache Description:

This cache is a camo-taped pill bottle big enough to hold a few small items just a few yards off the quiet, shady Pioneer Trail which runs through Garin/Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park.

The satellites are kind of fickle here because of all the trees, but it still shouldn't be too difficult.

There is poison oak in the area, but you can easily avoid it while grabbing the cache.

I suggest checking the park’s website, (visit link) for a map showing where the trail is and for parking and other useful information.

Please, cover the cache well so it doesn't get muggled again.
