Overlooking Beacon Reservoir, this cache guides you around the pond and into some seldom visited parts of this beautiful area.
Lacking maintained and marked trails, there are several established social trails that will bring you to this cache. Please make sure to bring a map as it's easy to get turned around up here.
You are looking for a large ammo can. The original contents were a log book, Things of Pooh, some hand-warmers, and other assorted swag.
The best way to visit this cache would be to go to the fire-tower (GC18FG9 -- Mount Beacon LPC) and then here. From this cache head towards Pocket Falls and from there you will an easy way back towards the parking area for Lady Luck. After a few finders, I'll update the listing with trail information but, for now, also bring along a sense of adventure.
This cache was placed in a snow-storm so, yes, it's accessible in the winter!
Again, please don't go looking for this cache without knowing how to read a map of this area.
Please note that this cache was relocated in May 2013
