Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of caches around the lovely village of Maeshafn. If you DON'T find it first time, come back for another go after doing one of the other caches. They might give you a clue to how my brain works. No pen/pencil, so please take one.

Lead ore was mined in the famous Maes Y Safn Mine from the mid seventeenth century up to 1907.
The village grew around the mine as it developed. The Mine extends for about 1400 yards from the banks of the River Alyn eastwards under the village and under Moel Findeg.
Until a few years ago there was a small window in the porch to the Miners Arms where the miners were paid.

Inspired by Motorway Mayhems and A-Road Anarchys, taking you off the beaten track via B-roads into "Vexatious Villages". This follows a similar vein so will be fairly easy for those who have found some of the aforementioned series and a challenge if you haven't.

Congratulations to our Mr FTF Phil (PhilPamAndRob) who was up with Lark. You would have thought he would have called around to The West Viewers to wake them up . He found all the series before 8.0am Well done Phil, back home to do the housework now
