We have caches on foot paths, we have caches on the side of roads, I thought it time to combine the two. Let’s try byways. This cache is accessible by foot or an off road vehicle. At the time of the cache being placed I was able to park just a few meters away from the location.
Bluebell Hill Transmission Station
There are two approaches to this cache the first being from the East. This is a narrow but made road to the cache, and once there you are able to turn around. The other way out is to follow byway down the hill and through the woods which brings you out at the Lower Bell public house (don’t have a drink if you are driving).
The second approach is from the West at the Lower Bell PH. Follow Lower Warren Road East, up the hill and through the woods. If you don’t want to risk driving then parking is available at N51 19.193 E000 31.000 and you can walk.
WARNING
If you decide to drive this be aware that although I have accessed this cache by 4x4, the off road part is narrow and bushes do overhang the byway and may scratch your vehicle. The hill is steep, but not heavy with mud and once committed you will have to follow through.
