The co-ordinates above are for the lost pub not the cache.

It was listed as an Inn in 1840 and 'Vans' carrying passengers and goods left from the Bull every Thursday morning for Maidstone. We visited the pub as a pub in the 1980s and later as a Thai restaurant before it closed. This is now a private house but the original etched windows of the pub remain and one of them is required to solve the clue. Make a note of the words on the far right window looking at the pub from the road and then work out the final cache co-ordinates using the following, where A is the number of letters in the first word and B the number in the second word.
The cache can be found at N 51° 13.(A-3)(A+2)(B-1)' E 000° 25.(A+1)(B+2)(B-4)'
Please park as indicated and not in front of the pub or church.
If anybody would like to expand the Kent Lost Pubs series please do, we would just ask that you let LVT know first so we can keep track of the Pub numbers and names, to avoid duplication. Please avoid pubs that have become restaurants.
