Geocache Description:

This is pretty easy going cache. Kids friendly. There is some construction going on nearby so stay away from it. Parking can be done at N44 17.050 W088 22.524

Not sure when this airport open, but from the picture you can see that it was a grassy field one time. I did find blue prints for when the airport put in black top for the runway. Outagamie moved the airport to the present location on August 23, 1965. The old runways are still there. The one that runs East to West was converted into the parking lot. The old farm house across the road is still there today. In picture Plan A, you can see where US 41 once went which is now Northland Ave. or OO. The container tube container about 2 X 12 inches. Good for small items.
